Well, our store owner remembers getting one of these when it first came out. He says it feels like yesterday but 1983 was a long time ago. This was one of the first boards that really deviated from the VCJ artwork. Its a street art style based on the work and vibe gotten from the Santa Monica area.
Wheel wells? OG colours? Heck yes! This board is awesome! Its a perfect throwback whether your skating it for the first time ever or in a few decades! Makes for a great wall hanger for skate enthusiasts too!
This deck features the SP0 concave. A mold designed to give a great oldschool feel to Powell’s impressive reissue skateboards. The mold is designed for functionality and is a strict single kick.
All Powell Peralta decks are made in the United States under George Powell’s watchful eye. Just like the decks made way back in 78′ this deck has been held to the highest quality standards, using only the best Canadian Maple money can buy. The graphics on this deck are heat transfer and vibrant!

The Bones Brigade Video Show Circa 1984

George Powell dropped by CalStreets Skateshop in Vancouver—one of Powell's earliest Canadian distributors—for a throwback hangout with Rick Tetz, Illya, and Graham. Surrounded by 80s memorabilia and fresh Powell gear, George shared untold stories from the golden age of skateboarding, posing proudly with an Andy Anderson deck, symbolizing the bridge between skateboarding’s roots and its future.
