Santa Cruz has been on the ball with every change in skating. They were a key player in the late ’70s when freestyle and slalom were all the rage and made a smooth transition to the ’80s pool craze. By incorporating their riders into product designs, Santa Cruz was able to excel and help revolutionize the skate scene. Today we are excited to talk about and put to the test the 9.5 x 31 Rob Roskopp ‘Face’ Reissue Deck! This board is shorter in length, but it features a 15.3 inch wheelbase for stability while ripping the streets. This board features our Old Skool Concave complete with a double bend tail which locks your back foot in nicely. We put Santa Cruz Skateboards Brand Manager Andrew Cannon to the test with three different challenges to find out how this setup skates!
