SECTOR 9 SMASH-IT ABANDON SHREDDER SURF SKATE 8.625″ X 31.5″ WB: 16″ DRIVER TRUCKS

$274.95

The Abandon Shredder is built for riders who want to improve the quality of their turns on a surfboard or simply bring that same surf-style feeling to a skateboard. Measuring 31.5” long by 8.625” wide with a 15.25” wheelbase, the 7-ply maple deck provides a stable platform for carving, cruising and pumping.

The key is Gullwing’s new 8.0” Driver truck up front. While some surfskates can feel overly loose or unstable, the Driver delivers deep, flowing turns while maintaining enough stability to skate hard and stay in control. Pump through turns to generate speed without pushing, or dig in and drive through powerful carves. An 8.0” Gullwing Shadow truck in the rear keeps the setup balanced and responsive.

The Shredder rolls on 61mm 78a Nineball wheels with ABEC 5 Greaseball bearings, recycled plastic risers and hardened steel hardware. Double kicks, custom screened grip tape, an artist rail print and artwork by Derek Hall complete the setup. These are skateboards you can surf.

https://vimeo.com/776152122 surfskate technology has evolved to bring the ocean to the streets, letting you carve and cruise like you're riding a wave—even on concrete.Carver Surf Skate Roundhouse Wheels Canada Online Sales Pickup Surf Skate City VancouverCarver Skateboards revolutionized the surfskate industry with their innovative truck designs, bringing the fluid motion of surfing to pavement. Founded in the 1990s by Greg Falk and Neil Carver, the brand was born from a desire to create a skateboard that could replicate the carving and pumping dynamics of surfing. Their signature truck systems, the CX (a hybrid of surfskate and traditional skate trucks) and the C7 (a fluid, spring-loaded surf trainer), set them apart, making Carver a go-to choice for surfers, skaters, and landlocked riders worldwide. Carver's lineup includes pro models from surfing legends like Taylor Knox and Yago Dora, as well as collabs with surf brands like Lost and Channel Islands. Their commitment to quality, durability, and authentic surf feel has kept them at the forefront of the surfskate movement. In Canada, BoarderLabs / CalStreets is a premier Carver dealer, bringing these high-performance surfskates to riders across the country. With a strong selection of Carver decks and trucks, BoarderLabs ensures that Canadian skaters can experience the closest thing to surfing on land. Sector 9 Longboards Vancouver BC CanadaBuy Sector 9 Online Canada Vancouver Pickup CanadaSector 9 Longboards Vancouver BC Canada In the sun-drenched summer of '93, a band of backyard tinkerers started slapping together skateboards, not realizing they were about to kickstart the longboard uprising known as Sector 9. It all began with one board, then two, and suddenly, they were less of a backyard band and more of a longboard legion. The tale of how they got their name is as quirky as a kickflip. A buddy from Hawaii, famous for dubbing just about everyone “nineballs” in the most endearing way possible, rang them up one day. Finding only the answering machine to confide in, he left a message wondering, “What's going on over there at Sector 9?” referring to what he imagined was a gathering of nineballs. Little did he know, he was naming the next big thing in longboarding. This serendipitous moment coincided with the theft of their prized hill cruiser—a snowboard they had Frankenstein-ed into a skateboard—right from under their noses in Northbird, La Jolla. As they were putting the final touches on its replacements, they realized what they needed wasn't just a logo, but a name that could capture their essence. The answering machine's message rang out like a prophecy, and just like that, Sector 9 wasn't just a place filled with nineballs; it was the beacon of longboarding innovation.
