The Abandon Shredder is built for riders looking to improve the quality of their turns on a surfboard or simply get that same surf-style feeling while riding a skateboard. Measuring 31.5” long by 8.625” wide with a 15.25” wheelbase, the 7-ply maple deck provides a comfortable platform for carving, cruising and generating speed through turns.
What makes the Shredder perform the way it does is Gullwing’s new 8.0” Driver truck up front. While some surfskates can feel overly loose or unstable, the Driver gives you enough movement to carve deeply while maintaining the stability needed to skate hard and stay in control.
Dig into your turns, push with power or pump through them to generate speed without putting a foot down. An 8.0” Gullwing Shadow truck in the rear provides a solid, responsive foundation that complements the Driver and creates a balanced, flowing ride.
The Shredder rolls on 61mm 78a Nineball wheels with ABEC 5 Greaseball bearings, 0.25” recycled plastic risers and 1.25” hardened steel hardware. Custom screened grip tape, printed grip details, double kicks, an artist rail print and original artwork by Derek Hall complete the setup. Whether you’re training your surf turns or carving the streets, these are skateboards you can surf

Carver Skateboards revolutionized the surfskate industry with their innovative truck designs, bringing the fluid motion of surfing to pavement. Founded in the 1990s by Greg Falk and Neil Carver, the brand was born from a desire to create a skateboard that could replicate the carving and pumping dynamics of surfing. Their signature truck systems, the CX (a hybrid of surfskate and traditional skate trucks) and the C7 (a fluid, spring-loaded surf trainer), set them apart, making Carver a go-to choice for surfers, skaters, and landlocked riders worldwide. Carver's lineup includes pro models from surfing legends like Taylor Knox and Yago Dora, as well as collabs with surf brands like Lost and Channel Islands. Their commitment to quality, durability, and authentic surf feel has kept them at the forefront of the surfskate movement.
In Canada, BoarderLabs / CalStreets is a premier Carver dealer, bringing these high-performance surfskates to riders across the country. With a strong selection of Carver decks and trucks, BoarderLabs ensures that Canadian skaters can experience the closest thing to surfing on land. Whether you're carving up city streets or training for the next swell, Carver Skateboards—available at BoarderLabs—keeps the surf alive year-round.
