The Dogtown Skateboards Iron-On Patch is a tribute to one of skateboarding’s most iconic and influential brands. Emerging from the gritty surf and skate scenes of Santa Monica and Venice Beach in the mid-1970s, Dogtown was born out of a rebellious spirit that reshaped skateboarding. Rooted in the raw energy of the streets, Dogtown quickly became a symbol of daring, creativity, and authenticity, largely thanks to the legendary Zephyr team, known as the Z-Boys. As Dogtown continued to grow, the brand’s impact expanded beyond skateboarding into music and art, cementing its place in counterculture. In the early ’80s, this influence deepened when Jim Muir’s brother, Mike, formed the punk band Suicidal Tendencies. Together, they pioneered Skate Rock, a powerful blend of punk music and skate culture that has remained influential.
The Dogtown Iron-On Patch represents this legacy—a piece of skateboarding history that continues to inspire. Perfect for jackets, backpacks, or hats, this patch is a way to show allegiance to a brand that has championed originality, intensity, and a commitment to pushing boundaries for over four decades.
