The Vision Don Brown Pig Stick OG Freestyle Reissue Complete is one of those boards that makes a proper freestyle skater stop mid-sentence and go, “Wait… they actually brought that back?”

This is the kind of setup that comes from a very specific corner of skateboarding — the world of footwork, rail flips, caspers, spacewalks, manuals, shove-it variations, fingerflips, quick pivots, and all the tiny technical madness that happens before most people even realize the trick has started. Freestyle boards are not just small skateboards. They are precision tools. Every inch matters. Width, wheelbase, nose, tail, balance, symmetry, and how the board reacts under your feet all become part of the language.

Don Brown’s name belongs right in that conversation. Coming out of Brighton, England and making his way into the American skate scene in the 1980s, Don became part of the Vision/Sims freestyle era, travelling for contests, demos, and signings, and earning his place as one of the standout freestyle names of the period. He later became a major mover and shaker in the skate industry through Sole Technology, éS, Emerica, etnies, and beyond — the kind of guy who did not just ride through skateboarding, but helped push parts of it forward from the inside.

This Pig Stick OG Freestyle Reissue brings back that original Vision energy in a complete that is built around the classic Don Brown pro model shape. At 7.25″ wide by 27.5″ long, with a 13.5″ wheelbase, this is a compact, quick, technical freestyle platform. It is short, snappy, and built for control — not for bombing hills, not for pretending you are on a couch-sized cruiser, but for making the board obey your feet like it owes you money.

The graphic is pure late-80s Vision attitude: loud, strange, cartoon-mad, and completely unforgettable. The Pig Stick art has that exact kind of weird skate-shop magic that made old Vision decks jump off the wall. It is funny, ugly-beautiful, aggressive, and somehow still charming — which is basically the perfect recipe for a freestyle board from that era.

The best part is that this is not some random “inspired by” deck that sort of remembers what the original looked like after a long weekend. This is a Vision classic Don Brown Pro Model Freestyle Reissue made to the original design specs, and it is still being produced by the same company behind the original 1980s board listing language seen on current reissue references.

Pig Stick is a reminder that freestyle was, and still is, one of skateboarding’s most technical art forms.Vision Gator, Gonzales, Psycho Pink Foil Reissue Decks Last Call CalStreets Reissue Dept Vancouver Pickup Canada Online Sales

Vision Skateboards

Vision Hosoi Schmitt Stix Tracker Skateboards Canada Pickup VancouverStarted in 1976 by Brad Dorfman, Vision initially began as a skateboard brand, sponsoring the likes of Mark Gonzales, Mark 'Gator' Rogowski and Tom Groholski. In the early 80's Vision sports released their first pro model skateboard for skater Mark 'Gator' Rogowski. This was followed by a release of a pro model deck for skater Mark Gonzales, both designed by Los Angeles-based artist Andy Takakjian. Gonzales went on to release a few more pro models with Vision before departing to form Blind Skateboards, (a play-on words with Vision) with World Industries. Vision was also one of the first skate brands to connect with the subculture of music, releasing skate decks from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beastie Boys and Agent Orange.
