The Slappy ST1 Inverted Hollow Lights in Polished Silver 9.0 take everything you love about responsive trucks and refine it for pure precision and fun. Designed with an ultra-low hollow kingpin and shorter top bushing, these trucks deliver the ultimate in grind clearance and control. Every slappy, carve, and pivot feels smoother, faster, and more locked-in thanks to the increased slappy angle and the “No Hangups Guaranteed” design philosophy that defines the ST1 series.
A forged baseplate keeps things ultra-strong yet lightweight, while the hollow axle and inverted kingpin combo shed excess weight without sacrificing durability. The result is a lower center of gravity that enhances stability, reduces wheel bite, and provides a faster turn initiation that feels intuitive right out of the box. There’s no awkward break-in period—just instant response and that perfect blend of looseness and precision that lets you customize your setup exactly how you like it.
Matte black from top to bottom with subtle gold hardware accents, the ST1 Inverted Hollow Lights are built for skaters who push their trucks to the limit but still demand smooth control.

All throughout the pandemic, when the world stopped, and things were locked down, I started messing with my trucks. I decided to start working on designs, and the sampling process began shortly after.
I went through so many different versions of the hangers and baseplates, experimenting with different bushings, bushing heights, hardnesses, turning radius, kingpins, polishes, and the list goes on for over two years. I finally got the truck to where I really like it.
The main thing I wanted in a truck was to have the best grind clearance I could get without messing up the turn I wanted.
I also wanted the truck to be strong, light, and have a classic look and feel. At the end of all this, it’s just me in my garage trying to create something new with Slappy trucks. - Mike Sinclair
